WHO WE ARE
Living Waters Canoe Ministry is a faith-based outdoor recreation and camping facility. We offer a clean, "dry", approach to family camping. Our grounds can cater to groups of all sizes. Founded in 2000, Living Waters has become a staple in the region for family float trips. |
OUR STORY
My wife, Julie, and I were taken back at a friend’s funeral in 2000 when we considered how much he had done in service for others in his lifetime. We would soon be expecting our fourth and youngest son, but we were undeterred. In early 2001, this journey began. Our faith foundation had been built to create something more impactful and tying our life connections to this river seemed like an obvious next step.
We can point back to the influential conversations when we were pointed in a direction. We take great pride in our four sons and how their summers serving at the river is now part of their life stories. Today our facilities are top notch, our volunteers and Board are amazing and the Global Outdoor Leadership Internship is building a corps of future adventure trek leaders who will provide access to the world for those who are looking to look upon the fields with new eyes. Even now as we are assured by God’s provision on this ministry, we are looking forward with fresh excitement at what is possible. Paul W. Ewing Founder |
